Lenovo S12 ION with BackTrack 5 Gnome 32bit edition
I’ve decided to install BackTrack 5 as my second OS on my netbook Lenovo S12. It’s pretty straight forward, but my Wireless wasn’t working.
It appears that some software is blocking it. Notice the first, it says Soft blocked: yes
My output from the terminal:
root@root:~# rfkill list 0: ideapad_wlan: Wireless LAN Soft blocked: yes Hard blocked: no 1: ideapad_bluetooth: Bluetooth Soft blocked: no Hard blocked: no 2: hci0: Bluetooth Soft blocked: no Hard blocked: no 3: acer-wireless: Wireless LAN Soft blocked: yes Hard blocked: no 4: phy0: Wireless LAN Soft blocked: yes Hard blocked: no
